What is spiritual medicine? The definition of spiritual medicine is an approach to healthcare that treats the “spirit”- defined as a person’s inner sense of meaning, purpose, and connection to something larger than themselves- as a vital component of physical and mental health. Unlike conventional medicine, which often focuses on isolating and treating specific physical symptoms, spiritual medicine views the individual as an integrated whole of body, mind, and spirit. For me personally it feels like so much more than that, more than our words can describe.  There is something so sacred about spiritual medicine. I know that spiritual medicine is vital to healing because our eternal spirit, our eternal light is the essence of who we really are. The essence of who we are is powerful and profound and I am here to remind you of this so you can be here right now in your fullest health and expression.

Spiritual medicine understands that we are energy and frequency so healing is this as well. Spiritual medicine is so crucial to health care plans and it is noticeably absent in our healthcare systems today. In western medicine providers take care of the physical vessel which is great and so highly needed but it is missing the spiritual medicine side.  We also do work in the emotional vessel. An example of this would be going to your mental health provider or therapist, also great and 100% needed but again but it feels like what is missing or completely ignored is our spiritual vessel. It is not to say that it is wrong or right per se , it is just certainly not complete care.

I know that we are powerful spiritual beings that come from spirit and will go back to spirit.  We have chosen to come here right now to experience life in this physical body. We chose to do this, to be here right now, to experience duality, all of it, the good, the bad, the pain, the joy, the suffering, the grief, the fear, the anger, the bliss.  All of it every last mili second we wanted to come here to experience.  The question that is often asked is why would I want to experience the paralyzing grief of losing a child, a loved one, or why would I choose to come here and be trapped in a failing body that hurts and I 100% understand what you are saying. We may not know all the answers to those questions right now but I know beyond a doubt that it is not for nothing.  Those deep, raw, powerful experiences allow you to meet someone else in those places. It allows compassion and growth beyond what could have been if you hadn't had that. It did not happen any other way because it was not supposed to. You are right on time, right where you are supposed to be with whom you are supposed to be with. Otherwise it would not have happened as it did.

It is  in our darkest moments that we find choices: allow that suffering to take you down and continue the cycle of trauma or allow it to be the catalyst to transform and heal.

I am here in this capacity at Luminara Eternal Light Wellness as an experienced Nurse Practitioner and Spiritual medicine provider to be your ally, your guide, to assist you in healing no matter where you are on this journey of life.

I challenge that the spiritual medicine that is missing in western medicine is where our true power of healing comes from and I am here to help (re)awaken you to this fact.  I am here to not teach you this but help you remember your own power.  You are have the power inside yourself to heal anything and everything right now. In order to do this we will need to first do some work and this is also what I am here to help you with.

For right now at Luminara Eternal Light Wellness I am offering Spiritual Medicine healing sessions.  Currently, there are two offerings. One is the Comprehensive Quantum healing session with consult (we discuss what is happening and intention), healing session (up on the healing table to do energy work), and integration (insights, things to work on), and the other is just the healing session (when all we are needing is the on the table energy work). I would advise to always start with the Comprehensive sessions but I am all about choices and with me that is something you will always have.

I am so honored that you are here, and I am profoundly grateful to be of service in this way. I cannot wait to meet with you and start healing together.

All my love and with profound gratitude Dianna O’Neill ARNP, Spiritual Medicine Practitioner
